SABABA HEBREW

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 7 May 2026
Sababa Hebrew (“the app”, “we”) is built and operated by Ariel Goldberg. This policy explains exactly what data the app handles. The short version: we don’t collect, sell, or share your data. Everything stays on your device.

1. What we do not collect

We do not collect, store, or transmit:

The app has no servers that store your personal data.

2. Data that stays on your device

The following information is stored only on your device using Apple’s standard iOS storage (UserDefaults). It is never transmitted to us or any third party:

You can erase all of this at any time by deleting the app.

3. Audio & speech (text-to-speech)

When you tap a “speak” button, the app uses Apple’s on-device speech synthesizer (AVSpeechSynthesizer) to play Hebrew audio. No audio is uploaded to us or any third party — we have no servers.

We do not record, listen to, or store your microphone input. The app does not request microphone permission.

4. Purchases (Sababa Pro)

The app offers a one-time purchase (“Sababa Pro”) through Apple’s In-App Purchase. When you buy, Apple processes the transaction and gives the app a receipt. We do not see your name, email, payment method, billing address, or Apple ID.

The only thing the app stores about your purchase is whether you own Sababa Pro (a true/false flag) — kept on-device and synced via Apple’s StoreKit framework across your devices signed into the same Apple ID.

To restore a previous purchase on a new device, tap Restore Purchases on the paywall or in Profile.

For refunds, follow Apple’s refund process: reportaproblem.apple.com

5. Children

Sababa Hebrew is suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect information from children, because we do not collect information from anyone.

6. Third parties

Sababa Hebrew does not include third-party SDKs that collect data, analytics tools, advertising networks, or tracking pixels.

The app’s only external dependency is Apple’s own StoreKit (for purchases) and AVFoundation (for audio playback) — both on-device Apple frameworks.

7. Changes to this policy

If we ever change this policy, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page and describe the change.
